Ladies, it’s almost the middle of December! Where did this month go? Where did this YEAR go?? I feel like just yesterday I was filing my taxes and getting ready for my wedding. 2017 is almost over and I just started getting used to putting it on paperwork. Now it’s almost a new year. A new year of possibility, creativity, and goals galore. But before it’s time to set up those “New Year, New Me” goals, I figured I should round this year off with a list of activities and crafts I am looking forward to attacking this winter. Winter, I’m coming for ya!
Winter Bucket List
- Sit by the fire.
- Make homemade cookies.
- Craft with all of those corks from the wedding.
- Make a homemade gift.
- Host a family movie night.
- Plan first anniversary trip/activity.
- Make a bath bench for the guest bathroom.
- Make homemade hot chocolate.
- Purchase new pajamas.
- Get a mani/pedi.
- Make homemade soup.
- Buy new fuzzy slippers.
- Make 2018 goals and write them down.
- Make a DIY mirror decor for the guest room.
It’s going to be a busy couple of months for my family, considering we have three weddings and two showers to attend, I’m starting school soon, and we might go to New York to visit family. But I plan to accomplish all of these tasks and enjoy myself. A few of the above items are purely items or activities that will relax me – something I desperately need. Oh, how I yearn for some quality Me time! I haven’t had a proper pedicure in MONTHS, and you can definitely tell. My husband pretends my feet are baby soft but ain’t nobodies baby has feet like mine. (This is one of this “Ole chile, bless that boy” moments.) I am beyond ready for homemade cookies, fuzzy slippers, and yes, baby soft feet.
