As you guys know, recently I have started incorporating more natural products into my life.
Every time I go to the store – any type of store, might I add – I am on the lookout for natural products at a reasonable price to try. You could call me obsessed, (my husband does) but I honestly am trying to limit my #productjunkie ways. Honestly. I’ll prove it: I wait until the end of each shopping trip to look in the product sections. I check price tags, too. Oh, and sometimes I even take a moment to consider if I really need it.
Yeah, okay, it’s a work in progress.
A few weeks ago I came across a stand for Bone Creek Farms. They are a local farm here in middle Georgia that makes all natural products from goat milk. They sell natural soaps, body sprays, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and lip balm. What are the benefits of using goat milk, you ask?
Goat milk is an ideal product any with dry or sensitive skin, especially those with eczema or psoriasis. It is moisturizing and is loaded with many beneficial vitamins and minerals.
Having dry skin, I figured it would be a great idea for me to try goats milk products. I started with a couple of bars of soap and one exfoliating bar with poppy seeds for my husband. We love them so far. I was nervous about the soap lathering up enough, but surprisingly it has a rich lather, and the essential oil blends make the soap smell wonderful. It’s moisturizing and makes my skin feel soft. I’ve also heard that it works as a great substitute for shaving cream!
The pumice soap isn’t too harsh, and each bar seems to last a good amount of time. I shower daily and the bar I have been using doesn’t seem to be dwindling down too quickly. I definitely got got what I paid for.
Are goat milk products accessible to you?
They probably are, you just need to know where to find them. If you can’t find some at your local farmer’s market, get some shipped to you from Bone Creek Farms.
